Mini Poof Chat

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

A five-minute room timer and a recap card only matter if you know what stays on your iPhone. This notice describes how Mini Poof Chat handles information when you create topics, run simulated rooms, and keep past results.

Who we are

Mini Poof Chat is operated by Wijaya Saputra, based in Indonesia. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

What the app does

Mini Poof Chat is an offline entertainment app for iOS. You enter a room topic, optionally choose an anonymous display label, and start a timed session (five minutes). Four participants are local bots with random names and colours from bundled lists; they send short prepared phrases linked to your topic category. You can mark one message as a proposal, watch simulated votes update, finish early with “Decided!”, or wait for the timer. When the room closes, you receive a recap card (topic, winning proposal text, simulated vote count, and how the room ended).

Not real messaging. There is no server, no online matchmaking, and no human chat partners. Bot dialogue and votes are simulated on your device only.

Information processed on your device

While you use the app, it may process:

Active room state (participants, transcript, timer) is kept in memory. If you force-quit the app or the system terminates it during an open room, that in-progress session is discarded; the next launch returns to the home screen without restoring an unfinished room.

Local storage

Finished recap cards are saved locally in the app’s private container as structured data (a small encoded file on your iPhone). The home archive reads these records so you can compare past topics and outcomes. We do not operate a cloud backup of your recaps; retention follows your device backups and uninstall behaviour.

Sharing

When you tap Share on a recap, the app renders the recap card to an image and opens the system share sheet. Whatever you send (Messages, Mail, Files, etc.) is governed by the app or service you choose. Shared images contain the topic, winning proposal, and simulated tally—not a claim of a real group decision.

Network and external services

Core room simulation, voting, and recap creation work without internet access. The app is not described as calling analytics platforms, advertising networks, or account servers as part of normal use. If you use Share or device backup features, those systems may transfer data outside the app under their own policies.

Accounts and purchases

Mini Poof Chat does not require an account or sign-in. In-app purchases are not part of the product described for this release; if that changes in a future version, store listings and this page would be updated.

Permissions

The experience is designed around on-device simulation and local file storage in the app container. Any iOS permission prompts would appear only if a future feature genuinely needs them; this version’s documented flow does not rely on location, contacts, or microphone access for the room engine.

Children

The app is general entertainment. Parents and guardians should review simulated chat content and sharing behaviour before younger users share recap images.

Deleting your information

Removing the app from your device deletes locally stored recap files in the app container, subject to iOS behaviour and any device backups you keep. There is no separate online profile to erase. If you need help understanding what remains after uninstall, email us.

Changes

We may update this notice when functionality or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
